What is our Thriving Communities?
Firstly we carry this out by testing ideas within the community through many programmes.
We bring together organisations for cross-sector collaboration; this is both strategic and developmental, building strong foundations to deliver high-quality activities and services to strengthen communities that empower them to thrive.

Community Enterprise
Community Enterprise is an exciting initiative, delivered by Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service, in partnership with the National Centre for Rural Health and Care and Community Catalyst. It is available throughout Mablethorpe, Theddlethorpe, Sutton on sea and Trusthorpe.
Community Transport
The Community Transport programme is funded to work in the local authority districts in Lincolnshire of South Holland, Boston Borough and East Lindsey with existing schemes and any potential new ones, to develop community transport availability and accessibility especially in some of the most rural areas.
Core20PLUS5
Lincolnshire NHS would like to get children and young people across Lincolnshire with asthma together to give them a chance to share their opinions and feedback on the service they have received. This is crucial in ensuring the services they receive are improved and issues they face are addressed. CVS Lincolnshire have been brought in to facilitate groups of young people to be able to speak up about their asthma.
Lincolnshire Armed Forces Community
The Lincolnshire Armed Forces Community is a promise to ensure fair treatment of those who serve, or have served, in the Armed Forces, and their families, in that they should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy, and society they serve with their lives. We are actively engaged with our Lincolnshire Armed Forces Community, taking an active part in the Armed Forces Partnership board.
Moorland
CVS Lincolnshire is delivering a piece of work within the Moorlands Estate in Lincoln, funded through UKSPF. This work is focused on engaging with the local community to help develop Moorland Community Centre into a thriving community venue that holds regular weekly groups, a wide range of activities for people of all ages and support drop-in sessions.
Together Initiative
Together is a long-term initiative, focused on the South West Ward of Gainsborough. The area often features in the top 10 most deprived areas in the country. It was conceived in 2022 following extensive engagement with local agencies, organisations, residents and those with a passion for the area.
Wilder Coast Collective
This is an example of collaborative action for the benefit of our local environment and communities. The Wilder Coast Collective is a powerful partnership of 19 organisations, all united by a shared vision: to significantly increase biodiversity and enhance community wellbeing across our beautiful Lincolnshire coastline.
