You can now self-refer to the Adult Eating Disorder Service.
If thoughts, feelings, or actions around food, eating, or weight are affecting your physical, mental, or social wellbeing, then Lincolnshire NHS are able to help.
The service supports people with all types of eating disorders aged 16 and over, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Binge Eating Disorder.
There is no BMI or weight requirement to access their service, you don’t have to be underweight or overweight to have an eating disorder.
They know that asking for help can feel scary, but their experienced, non-judgmental team is available to support you.
As well as offering specialist support to those with a severe eating disorder, the Adult Eating Disorders Service also provides dedicated support for mild to moderate eating disorders in adults aged 16 and over.
This support is now available to anyone aged 16 and over registered with a GP practice within the county of Lincolnshire.
The team will also be working closely with primary care teams, other mental health services and Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise organisations (VCFSEs) to offer additional support to meet people’s needs.
