Summary

The Lincoln Lottery Community Fund is available for all groups operating within the City of Lincoln. Grants of up to £5,000 available for projects meeting the priority areas.

Grant Purpose

City of Lincoln Council and CVS Lincolnshire are pleased to announce the launch of the Lincoln Lottery Community Fund for 2026.

The Community Fund has been raised through Lincoln Community Lottery ticket sales between August 2024 and April 2026, when the lottery transferred to a new operator.

The supporters either:

  • Selected the Lincoln Lottery Community Fund as their good cause when purchasing tickets, with 60p from every ticket sold going directly into the fund
  • Selected any of the other good causes when purchasing tickets, with 10p from every ticket sold contributing to the Community Fund and a further 50p going directly to their chosen good cause.

During July 2026, a resident consultation took place to identify the two good cause areas where residents would like the £17,811 from the Lincoln Lottery Community Fund 2026 to be allocated to.

The consultation identified the two priority good cause areas as –

  • Reducing the impacts of poverty and
  • Reducing Social Isolation and Loneliness

Funding applications received should be for no more than £5,000.

Chosen projects and activities must:

  • Directly support City of Lincoln residents.
  • Meet one or both priority good cause areas selected by lottery supporters and residents.
  • Demonstrate that they will begin to spend the funding within 6 months of allocation.
  • Confirm they will spend all funding allocated within 12 months
  • Have a clear and defined outcome or outcomes.
  • Not be currently supported financially via the City of Lincoln Council.

Successful applicants will be notified in October 2026.
