Brain Bite Study

Introduction:

The Brain Bite Study is looking to explore preferences and needs of individuals with mental health, behavioural or neurodevelopmental related symptoms to develop and support the design of future dietary interventions.

In other words, they are looking at the needs and wants of our population to ensure services that are being developed will be fit for purpose.

What’s involved: Completion of a questionnaire (10-15 minutes).

Consent and questionnaire are completed online. Please choose LPFT from drop down list.

The questionnaire will include information on:

• backgrounds and demographics.
• experiences related to living with symptoms of mental health, neurodevelopmental and behavioural conditions,
• their current diet, firstly through questions self-rating the healthiness of their diet using a five-point scale, ranging from ‘unhealthy’ to ‘healthy’
• survey respondents will be invited to indicate their preferences for different types of nutritional support interventions

Who’s it for? All individuals

• aged 14 years and over who have experienced one or more mental health, behavioural or neurodevelopmental related symptoms
• and/or family members/carers,
• or treating professionals working with people experiencing those symptoms
