Business Courses For Entrepreneurs And Education Providers

Introduction:

Beyond Money Education and Training launches business courses for purpose-driven entrepreneurs and education providers.

Grantham-based Beyond Money Education and Training CIC has announced the launch of innovative business education courses designed specifically for entrepreneurs who want to create positive impact alongside financial success, as well as the professionals who train and support them.

Founded by Maureen O’Callaghan following extensive PhD research, the courses address the critical gap in business education by combining profit-making with purpose.

Rethinking Business Education

Today’s entrepreneurs face unprecedented challenges that traditional business education fails to address.

While conventional business education often prioritises unlimited growth and consumption, Beyond Money’s research-backed courses emphasise sustainable practices, ethical decision-making, and a personalised approach that recognises each business owner’s unique journey.

“Current business education is overwhelmingly prescriptive and one-dimensional,” explains Maureen O’Callaghan, founder of Beyond Money Education and Training. “Our courses meet entrepreneurs where they are, providing them with the tools they need to achieve financial success while making positive contributions to society and the environment, while looking after themselves. A key focus is helping businesses work collaboratively with charities and community groups in ways that are mutually beneficial for all parties involved.” Drawing upon her experience of working with businesses while employed in charities, Maureen brings unique insights into creating these collaborative partnerships.

Beyond Money Education and Training offers a range of programmes for entrepreneurs and those who support them, from business coaches, commercial trainers, and mentors to universities and FE colleges. From a business start-up programme aimed at budding entrepreneurs seeking flexibility and purpose alongside financial success to a Prosocial Entrepreneur Programme which caters for business owners who want to create an impact while building profitable enterprises, there’s something for every stage of the entrepreneurial journey.

What truly sets Beyond Money’s courses apart is their dual focus on both entrepreneurs and education providers.

They help business education providers deliver relevant, accessible, and tried and tested learning that meets the specific needs of each learner, ensuring maximum impact and results. By equipping educators with research-backed methodologies and flexible frameworks, Beyond Money enables universities, colleges, commercial trainers and business support organisations to transform their offerings to meet the evolving demands of 21st century entrepreneurship.

To support this transformation, Maureen has authored ‘Developing the Prosocial Entrepreneur,’ a comprehensive handbook designed specifically for business coaches, advisors, trainers, mentors, and educators who are guiding clients through the Prosocial Entrepreneur Programme.

The Prosocial Entrepreneur Facilitator Training Programme specifically enables education providers to embed purpose-driven principles into their existing curriculum while maintaining rigorous business fundamentals.

“After five years of extensive research into entrepreneurship and prosociality, I’m excited to share evidence-based approaches that empower business owners and those who support them to create positive change while ensuring their ventures remain viable and sustainable,” Maureen adds.

“Equally important is our mission to transform how business education is delivered by giving providers the tools to create more meaningful, personalised, and impactful learning experiences.”
