If you live in Lincolnshire and have been affected by cancer – or you support people travelling to appointments – then Every-One would really value your insight.
Accessing cancer care can be challenging, and transport is often a major barrier. Long journeys, limited public transport, financial pressures and personal circumstances can all make it harder to attend appointments, receive timely treatment, or access aftercare. These issues affect people in both rural and urban areas, and national research shows that travel difficulties can delay diagnosis and worsen outcomes.
That’s why Every-One is pleased to invite you to contribute to the Cancer and Transport Project, a partnership between the Lincolnshire Cancer Co-production Group and the Lincolnshire Institute of Rural and Coastal Health (LIRCH).
Their aim is to place lived experience at the centre of this work – gathering real stories, insights and suggestions to shape practical solutions and strengthen support for everyone affected by cancer.
