Interested in the arts? Want to work in the creative world but not sure where to begin?
SO Festival have created the Creative Collective programme to give people real experience, practical training and 1-2-1 support to help them step confidently into the creative sector. While also encouraging people to share input and thoughts in shaping the work they do.
This is a flexible, hands-on programme designed to help you build skills, confidence and experience in the arts, events, festivals, media and marketing. By taking part in the Creative Collective you can gain real work experience, new skills and the opportunity to shape creative work locally.
The Programme is for people aged 18 to 25 years old, living in Mablethorpe or Skegness. No experience is needed just an interest in creativity, festivals or the arts.
You would actively work on shaping SO Festival 2027, along with opportunities to support and run workshops. Real-life work experience, working alongside arts professionals.
You will be able to take part in all or some:
• Behind‑the‑scenes festival experience
• Blogging, reviews, video and marketing projects
• Supported trips to arts venues and festivals
• Creative careers insight
• Paid and unpaid work experience
• Job application, CV and cover letter support
• Confidence and employability skills
• Networking with creative professionals
• 1-2-1 guidance and a personalised plan
The SO Festival Creative Collective puts young people at the centre of creativity. Where you will explore festival and arts roles, build confidence, gain useful work experience and have your voice heard in real projects.
