There is a Dementia Information and Support Event being held at St Botolph’s Church (Boston Stump) on 20th May from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
Everyone is welcome to pop-in for a relaxed chat and a free cuppa.
You can find out more about dementia, local support services and the modifiable risk factors that can help reduce your risk of dementia, plus free health checks.
Come along for gentle conversation, advice, and the reassurance of knowing that help is available locally.
You can speak directly with teams who understand the challenges, share guidance, and signpost to services that can make daily life easier.
It’s an open, drop-in style event, no pressure, no presentations, just an inviting space to connect, learn and feel supported.
When: Wednesday 20th May 2026, 11:00am to 3:00pm
Where: St Botolph’s Church, Church Close, Boston, PE21 6NW
On the same day there is a free Dementia Friends session on from 12.00 noon to 1:00pm at The Cotton Chapel in St Botolph’s Church.
This friendly and interactive session lasts around 45 minutes and will help you understand what dementia is, how it can affect people, and the small things we can all do to make a big difference.
Whether you’re a member of the public, a volunteer, or work with people in your community, everyone is welcome.
Drop in on the day or pre‑book by sending an email to karen.stengel@boston.gov.uk.
