The East Midlands Funding Forum is a group of funders, investors, and supporters of the voluntary, third and social sectors in the East Midlands.
They have come together to improve the practice of funding and investment by sharing information, knowledge, and good practice.
Below are a list of current grant schemes and funding updates.
The charity wants to help children who experience inequity and/or have disabilities to go on fun trips.
They fund schools, youth groups, and non-profit organisations planning one-time trips for children aged 13 and under.
They prioritise groups supporting disabled children and those with limited access to funds to go on holiday. In 2025, 60% of grants went to organisations working in the UK’s most deprived areas.
For groups of children with disabilities, they look at the group’s access needs and the levels of deprivation in your area.
They open for applications three times a year and accept applications based on when the trip is happening.
Grant amount: £500 – £3000 per trip
Trip length: A day trip or residential trips of up to 7 days
Timeframe: Applications for trips between 1st May and 30th September 2026 are open from 20th March and 19th August 2026. Applications for trips between 1st October and 31st December 2026 are open from 20th August and 19th November 2026.
Age range: Children must be aged 13 or under
Eligible organisations: Youth groups and UK-based non-profits with an organisational income below £2m, and schools
Trip type: Recreational only — no educational or religious aims
Location: Trips must take place within the UK, Isle of Man or Channel Islands
Deadline: Apply at least 6 weeks before the trip
It is recommended you apply early because they often close the application periods when all the funds for the period have been spent.
They must receive your application at least six weeks before the trip’s date. This ensures they have enough time to assess your application and decide. Portable floodlights can be a cost-effective way for you to use your facilities during the hours of darkness.
The Football Foundation will accept applications for both new and previously owned portable floodlights for use on artificial or natural turf training areas.
The Foundation will award a maximum grant of £25,000 that does not exceed 75% of the total project costs.
