Energy and Money Saving Service

Introduction:

LEAP (Local Energy Advice Partnership) is a completely free energy and money saving service that supports vulnerable households across the UK to reduce their energy bills and keep their homes warm, and is now available to residents in Lincolnshire.

Their goal is to help people who are at risk of, or falling into, fuel poverty by offering tailored advice and practical measures, all at no cost to them.

LEAP provides a range of services designed to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy costs. These include:

• Free Home Energy Visits to assess energy usage and identify ways to save on bills
• White Goods Grants to provide essential appliances for eligible households
• Energy-saving measures
• Tailored advice on reducing energy bills and improving home warmth
• Arrange a free appointment to help with benefits, debt and other money problems
• Refer you for further funded improvements to keep your home warm. e.g insulation and heating systems

The best way to get started is by arranging a one-on-one advice appointment with one of their energy advisors.

During this appointment, they will help determine your eligibility for energy efficiency support and explore the most appropriate options to help reduce household’s energy consumption.

Am I Eligible?

You may be eligible for the LEAP service if one of the below applies to you.

• You have a low income
• You recieve universal credit
• You receive housing benefit
• You receive an income or disability related benefit
