Family Nature Zone is a children’s programme based on the Tower Estate, Lincoln and uses nature, gardening and craft activities to enable children to have more fun, enjoy nature and develop positive relationships with peers.
This helps with improving their connection to the community and nature, while supporting their development, mental and physical health and giving them a wider experience of the world.
Family Nature Zone focuses on children between the ages of 1-7, but they are encouraging whole families to come along and join in, parents/guardians are required to attend.
You are welcome to turn up on the day, all that is required is that you fill in a form to participate.
Sessions run every Wednesday on Hillside Garden, usual time is 4:00pm to 5:30pm. During school holidays, timings may differ.
Note: Sessions will only be held outside if the weather is appropriate to do so, in case of heavy rain, snow or extreme cold temperatures sessions will be held inside Green Synergy Community Hub, 49 Roman Pavement, Lincoln, LN2 5RD. People signed up to session updates via text will be texted of any changes.

Leaf and Land Collective – Leaf and Land Collective are coming back!
Come to Hillside Garden to enjoy a taste of forest school, two sessions this summer holiday for you to take part in for free. The first session is on Wednesday 29th July, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and the second session is on Wednesday 12th August, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. They will also be running activities at the Family Fun Day.
Family Fun Day – Come along to the annual Family Fun Day at Hillside Garden! Wednesday 5th August from 12 noon to 4:00pm.
Enjoy all their activities for free, which include: Forest School, circus skills, face painting, flower crown making, garden games, a raffle and tombola, plus tea and cake (donation) and a BBQ (from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, £2 to £3).
Teddy Bear Picnic – Bring your cuddly friends from home, the more teddies the better.
Come along for their Hillside Garden Teddy bear picnic. Bring a snack to share or just your cuddly friend. Green Synergy will be bringing food along for everyone.
It is free to take part and is on Wednesday 19th August, from 1:00pm to 2:30pm. (Please do not bring along any food that contain the 14 major allergens)
Elbow Room – Lots of fun filled crafts to make and take home for free by Elbow Room on Hillside Garden.
They are a local family business that run all sort of fun activities for everyone to get involved in.
Don’t miss out. Come along on Wednesday 26th August from 1:00pm to 2:30pm They are also going to be facilitating Flower Crown making at the Family Fun Day.

There is a standard charge of £25.00 per family of 2 adults and 2 children. For each additional adult there is a charge of £10.00 and for every additional child, there is a charge of £5.00.
Cost includes coach travel and entry to the park.
