HWLincs is currently conducting a survey to understand the oral health experiences, views and needs of people living in Boston and the surrounding areas.
Why this matters: Recent data from the National Dental Epidemiology Surveys reveals a concerning trend: tooth decay levels in Boston are significantly higher than the national average. Specifically, 39.7% of 5-year-olds sampled in Boston had dental decay, compared to just 22.4% across England.
HWLincs goal: They want to hear from everyone, regardless of whether they are currently registered with a dentist or have an active oral health problem.

The Impact: This project is funded by the Local Dental Network. The feedback gathered will be used by HWLincs and the Lincolnshire Oral Health Alliance Group to support the development of the Lincolnshire Dental Strategy and inform the design of future oral health improvement programmes.
