Kooth.com is a free, safe and online mental health and support service commissioned in Lincolnshire for children and young people aged 11 to 18 (and up to 25 for care leavers and those with SEND).
Young people can access self-help tools, community support and live text-based chats with a qualified practitioner.
Young people can sign up to Kooth themselves – no referral is needed and there are no waiting lists.
Kooth is avaliable every day of the year, including over the Christmas and the New Year period if young people need any additional wellbeing support.

The normal opening hours are 12:00pm to 10:00pm Monday to Friday and 6:00pm to 10:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
These can be different over Bank Holidays and the Christmas and New Year period, so please check their website for any changes to the above.
In September 2026, Kooth will be introducing Soluna by Kooth, the next step in the evolution of their children and young people’s service (currently known as Kooth, or kooth.com).
Soluna by Kooth is built on the proven clinical model, safeguarding standards, and governance that have made Kooth a trusted service for young people and the professionals who work alongside them for decades. The service will be available as an app or website.
At this stage, there is nothing you need to change. Please continue to signpost young people to Kooth.com as normal. They simply want to give their partners the opportunity to have an early look at Soluna by Kooth and ensure you have all the information you need ahead of launch.
