Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum

Introduction

Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum is for parents of children with disabilities and additional needs and for professionals who work with them.

Your child does not need a diagnosis to join their membership and they have no upper or lower age limit. e.g. they may be undergoing investigation, have behaviour issues, anxiety, etc.

Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum is recognised and supported by the Department for Education (DfE) under the Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice (2015).

New LPCF State of SEND Survey and Max Cards

The launch of the new live survey (for parents) is on Thursday 1st January 2026.

Any parent of a child with SEND who registers or re-registers will be directed to complete the live survey where, after completion they will be eligible for a Max card.

This is now the only way that parents will  be eligible for a Max Card.

From January 2026, Max Cards will no longer be issued for:

  • Excellence Award Nominations
  • Your Say Feedbacks
  • Workshop/session evaluations

Instead, the only way to receive a Max Card will be through completing three steps:

  1. Update their LPCF registration.
  2. Complete the “State of SEND in Lincolnshire” survey – this rolling survey collects year-by-year data to help influence change with LCC, NHS, DfE, OFSTED, and others.
  3. Submit Max Card Feedback – If they have held a card before, they must provide feedback on at least one venue they have used. This helps other parents know which venues are SEND-friendly and how they were rated.

In simple terms:

  • Use their Max Card.
  • Complete feedback for at least one venue in the Feedback > Max Card section by following this link to the Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum website.
  • Re-register and complete the simplified parent survey for at least one of their SEND children’s experiences.
