On 10th May 2025 Lincs-Links celebrated their first anniversary.
Throughout the last year, the team at Lincs-Links have been working tirelessly to establish the charity within the coastal areas of Mablethorpe, Trusthorpe and Sutton-on-Sea, and have already helped numerous people in accessing the information they need to help them live happy, healthy and fulfilled lives.
They engage with local support groups, clubs, and workers and have held “Keep in Touch Meetings,” which are networking events for organisations in the area to come together, share information, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
Currently, they host two weekly drop-in sessions at Mablethorpe Community Hall and The Meridale in Sutton-on-Sea, and they link with Lincolnshire Sensory Service to offer a third drop-in and coffee morning at the Trinity Centre in Louth, providing signposting to relevant services for individuals’ needs.
Lincs-Links work with people in the community to help them to find the resources that will help them to lead better lives.
People can start by looking at the Lincs-Links directory, giving them a call or sending them an email.
Alternatively, they might like the help of one of their Local Supporters or Coordinators to assist them in their search, especially if they are struggling to know where to start. The aim is for Connectors to signpost friends, family, neighbours and even strangers to support and opportunities in the community.
