What is One Boston; Communities Together?
One Boston; Communities Together is a community engagement initiative which aims to gather the thoughts and opinions of anyone who lives, works or studies in Boston. We would like to know what you love about Boston, what would make you love it more and what you would like to see change.
To find out people's opinions we have attended community events such as 'Celebrate Boston at The Stump' and facilitated a number of Focus Group sessions with the learners at Boston College and Sixth Formers of Boston Grammar School.
We have also reached out to a number of Community Groups in Boston to speak to their service users, their volunteers and their group leaders.
We are aligning our community engagement themes with the 9 Pride in Place priorities for Boston.

Testimonials
"Thanks Philippa for attending the college to deliver sessions on the Boston Town Masterplan for feedback feedback. The sessions were very engaging and well organised and structured, and it was a pleasure to have you at Boston College. It was an excellent opportunity for students and staff to share ideas and suggestions for the future of the town, ensuring their voices were heard. It was also a valuable experience for our students to engage with professionals, helping to build their confidence in expressing their ideas. We look forward to building on this partnership in the future"
"It was a pleasure to work with Philippa and her team, welcoming students to give honest and open thoughts on the Boston area, not only in closed settings but also at the student conference event. The students really enjoyed the opportunity, especially the ESOL students who engaged really well. It was a great chance to provide feedback on key area related issues but to also hear some of positive stories for the town too. I also look forward to working further on this with the team including sessions with SEND Students and service staff and students"
