
Stamford Hub @ Stamford Day Centre are running a series of community drop-in groups which are open to everyone in the community and all abilities are welcome.
Their ‘In-House Day Opportunities’ service offers good quality building and community-based day services for older people and people with learning and physical disabilities.
The service helps people to live independent and fulfilling lives. They help people using the service, to develop friendships and to do the everyday things that are important to them. They also ensure people can be part of and make important contributions to their local communities. The service also provides a level of support for the wider family.

These activities are a great way to improve wellbeing. It is a chance for the people we support to meet others, build confidence, learn new skills and to live life to the full.
Regular groups include:
Soup and Spud:
Come along and enjoy a homecooked meal on the second Friday of the month from 12:00pm to 1:30pm and all for just £2.00
Singing for the Brain:
This is a local singing group for people with Dementia. Come along on every third Tuesday of the month from 10:30am to 12:00pm and sing and have fun in a relaxed environment. Singing is followed by refreshments.
Sewing Club:
Sewers of all abilities are welcome and refreshments are provided. This free club is on the second Wednesday of the month from 10:00am to 11:30am
Gardening Club
The gardening club runs on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of the month from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
Games Cafe:
Come along for a morning of friendly competition on the fourth Thursday of the month from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
Craft Club:
Come along and get creative at the Craft Club where crafters of all abilities are welcome and refreshments are provided every fourth Wednesday of the month from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Spaces are limited and booking is essential.
