Introduction:
Female veterans are not a homogenous group, they are a diverse group of women of different ages, experiences, ethnicities and backgrounds, who often go unrecognised.
The majority of female veterans transition to civilian life well and do not need additional support however for those that do, all organisations need to do more to make sure they get the right support at the right time and in the right way.
