Are you new to volunteer management or would you like to refresh your knowledge and skills?

Our series of 5 Volunteer Management Workshops cover a range of topics from getting your organisation ready to welcome volunteers; recruitment and welcoming volunteers; making volunteering accessible to all; support and supervision; and finally developing and valuing volunteers.

Throughout each workshop we will share best practice and give you the tools to be an effective volunteer co-ordinator or manager.

Event Details

Workshop 2 focuses on recruiting and welcoming volunteers and will cover topics such as:

• Motivations and barriers – understanding volunteer motivations; breaking down the barriers to volunteering

• Volunteer recruitment – role descriptions; advertising; your USP

• Selection and support – induction; volunteer handbook; volunteer agreement

This workshop is only available to Lincolnshire based volunteer involving organisations and is free to attend.

It will be delivered online via Teams on Wednesday 26th August 2026, from 10:00am to 11:30am. A link will be sent to attendees prior to this date.
