Event Details

Our series of 5 Volunteer Management training sessions cover a range of topics from getting your organisation ready to welcome volunteers; recruiting and welcoming volunteers; making volunteering accessible to all; support and supervision; and finally developing and valuing volunteers.

Throughout each session we will share best practice and give you the tools to be an effective volunteer co-ordinator or manager.

Session 4 focuses on supporting and supervising volunteers and will cover topics such as:

• Understanding support and supervision – the difference; the benefits; how to provide it
• Dealing with conflicts – why it is important; how to manage difficult conversations
• Retention – a changing landscape; understanding your volunteers; improving retention

This workshop is only available to Lincolnshire based volunteer involving organisations and is free to attend.

It will be delivered online via Teams on Wednesday 29th April 2026, from 10:00am to 11:30am. A link will be sent to attendees prior to this date.
